Patented Drum Gear Kit for use in HP M402
This patented Drum Gear Kit for use in HP M402 cartridges includes: OPC drum drive solution includes an, OPC bearing end plate, hopper end plate, an OPC washer, and a screw and nut.
The HM402PDGRKIT-2 is required for each PG2DRHM402-2-5 drum install (not required for any other drum install) and is sold separately. During remanufacturing the OEM bearing plate on the cartridge is removed with a pry tool to break two ultrasonic welds. During re-assembly, install the clear OPC washer and simply attach the replacement bearing plate with a bolt and nut (provided in the HM402PDGRKIT-2). The cartridge end plate is re-attached using the OEM screws. No further modification of the OEM cartridge plastic is needed.
